A sweet, sacred resin for clearing energy, opening breath, and inviting spiritual presence.

The resin of Bursera graveolens — known as Palo Santo — is a revered plant medicine used throughout Central and South America for ceremonial, spiritual, and folk medicinal purposes. Burned as incense, it carries a sweet, woody fragrance that calms the mind, clears stagnant energy, and uplifts the spirit.

Resins are the blood and waters of the plant. Like honey from a hive or gold from the earth, they speak to the subtle fields of healing and transformation. Palo Santo resin is especially potent, releasing vapours rich in limonene and α-terpineol, known for their cleansing, anti-inflammatory, and respiratory-supportive properties.

Used traditionally to clear mala energía (bad energy) this oil has a strongly protective energy keeping negativity away. Palo Santo resin is also valued for relieving sinus congestion, respiratory issues, coughs, tension headaches, stress, and anxiety. Its aromatic smoke can also help keep insects at bay.

This resin is 100% pure Palo Santo, collected sustainably from an intentional plantation in Ecuador. The trees are protected from over-harvesting, and the resin is only harvested seasonally from aged mature wood. Place a small amount on a burning charcoal disc or ember. Grinding the resin with a mortar and pestle before burning enhances its smoke and scent.
